Drop & Forget — Chrome Extension for Referral Intake
The Nestmate Drop & Forget Chrome extension lets office staff and care coordinators submit referral documents to Nestmate Health without leaving their EHR tab. The extension adds a small overlay to supported EHR web portals; staff drop a PDF, image, or screenshot onto the overlay, and the AI intake agent reads the form and routes the referral to the appropriate coordinator automatically.
What It Does
- One-click capture — use the toolbar popup or drag files directly onto the overlay; no separate EHR login required
- AI extraction — the MATE AI agent reads referral forms and extracts patient name, date of birth, MRN, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, insurance member ID, group number, and urgency classification
- Auto-detect from chart — on 40+ EHR portals, the overlay pre-fills patient name, DOB, and MRN from the currently open chart
- Offline queue — submissions queue locally and retry automatically if connectivity is lost mid-shift
- Desktop notifications — receive a notification the moment your referral is processed, even if the popup is closed
- HIPAA-compliant — all uploads go over HTTPS to Nestmate's secure servers; no PHI is stored in the extension itself

The orange overlay button appears automatically on all of these platforms:

Security and Compliance

Access is restricted to authenticated Nestmate users with an active practice account. Each submission is logged with a timestamp, user ID, and session token for audit purposes.
